Default My new Roush was T-Boned

On Friday my brand new Screaming Yellow Stage 1 Roush was T-boned!!! It got the passenger side of the car. I will post pics as soon as I get them loaded. Not sure how much damage is done yet...I take it to the body shop today. Adam (4.6) took me to the ER Friday night and they said I had a neck/shoulder strain/sprain and possible pinched nerve. I left shoulder/neck hurts and my left hand goes numb. I am also having dizzy spells. They took a CT scan and said it was normal. They put me out of work for 3 days and gave me a soft neck brace, pain medication, muscle relaxer, and Ibuprofen. The medication is knocks me on my butt. I am hurting a lot still but am trying to work today. I am still in shock that my new Roush was hit and I have not even made the first payment on it yet!!!

Thanks everybody for all of your concern and kindness!!!!! Thanks for the phone calls and private messages checking on me and my Roush. The car is not totalled. It would have to have done about $30,000 in damage for them to total my Roush. I dropped it off this afternoon to get him fixed!!! As far as me and the pain....I am getting somewhat better. Luckily I wa not hurt that bad. I am still in some pain but am taking some good pain killers right now....hehehe. The guy ran a stop light and hit me. He was around 80 years old. He was very nice and apoligetic and called his insurance company right then and there and told them and the police that it was all his fault. Here is some pics of my poor car. It still hurts me to look at them but it could have been much worse.

Well I got some good news today!!!!! The insurance finally approved the parts at Roush prices and not GT prices. The parts are now ordered so my body shop guy can start on my car Monday. It will be another 2 1/2 - 3 weeks before I get it back and then it goes to TN for the supercharger to be installed. One other good thing is that my paperwork is being held up because it cannot be completed until the supercharger is installed. Which means no payments yet!!!!! YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
