I agree that we are about equal in the engine/suspension area, but he has done an ext/int upgrade to the 87-93 years.

Is ANYONE going to give an answer to my classification question? I mean this classification thing is getting out of hand. First of all I would like to say is I never asked to be classified, when I looked at the new JFOs I saw I had alredy been Classified as Moderately Modified. Why is mine Moderate? Just because I did a AOD to T-5 swap? It's not like I put a T-56 in it, T-5s came stock in these cars. Mine just happened to come with an AOD and I changed it. And now I look at the list and see this one in the same category.

    Interior

Auto Meter gauge pod w/ Oil Pressure and Water Temp Auto Meter "Phantom Series" gauges
    Custom painted interior pieces
    Katzkin custom leather seats
    Mac white face gauges
    MGW LTD chrome interior accents
White LEDs used in door panels

    Exterior

House of Kolor Kandy Magenta flames with Orion Silver tips hand outlined in teal
    Dayton Imports Vertical Doors
    2001 Mustang GT hood scoop
    2001 Mustang GT side scoops
    Bullit Mustang fuel door
    Fiberglass Challenger bumper
    Custom Clear Corners
    Muth Signal Mirrors
    Sequential Tail Lights
    Tinted Windows
    Underbody Neon Kit (purple)
    Vinyl Bumper Inserts
    Whelen Four Strobe Kit
    Eibach Sportline Lowering Kit
    17x9 Chrome Cobra R's

    Multimedia

    5" LCDs in front visors
7" widescreen LCD in trunk lid
    Alpine CVA-1006 head unit
    Alpine CHA-S614 6-disc changer
Custom trunk enclosure with plexiglass flame accents and Mustang Pony backlit with purple neon
JL Audio 500.1 monoblock amp (subs)
    Kicker Impluse 40x4 amp (highs)
    Kicker Solobarics (10" x2)
    Lanzar DVD-97 DVD player

    Engine/Performance

    Mac Cold Air Induction
    ASP Underdrive Pulley
    Chrome alternator
    Chrome overflow bottle
    Chrome power steering neck cover
    Chrome strut tower caps
MGW LTD billit chrome dipstick handle
MGW LTD billit chrome oil cap
    Polished fuse block cover
    Polished upper radiator hose
    3.73 Gears w/ T-Lok
    Transgo Shift Kit
Custom dual exhaust with Holley Flowtech Warlock mufflers w/ 2.5" exhaust bypass
    JBA Shorty Cat4ward headers
McCord Power Plates (electronic exhaust cutouts)

How am I supposed to compete with this?

All you have to do is asked to be downgraded classes. Which judge classified you?

The one with that looks like Starsky. The problem isn't with just where I was put, but it seems there is no rhyme or reason to the whole classification process. I know you have alot to do running this site, and doing a great job at it, but in my humble opinion ther should be a few people to classify the cars, and the judges. Have the "classifiers" go by some brief guidelines, for example: less than 5 interior, exterior, engine and suspension mods would put one in Stock. This way the classification process would have some guidance, and not the random "let's flip a coin" way it looks now.

thats not how its done now.

You cant go by number of mods.

    Example.

    New Badge
    New AC Knobs
    New Shifter Knob
    New Floor Mats
    New Attenna
    New Headlights
    New Taillights
    New Oil Cap Cover
    New Gas Gap Cover
    New Fuse Box Cover
    K&N Air filter

This is STILL a lightly modified car.

If you would Like to be a classifer. I can set you up.

I know you can't do it that way. Like racing seats, roll bar, rear seat delete wouldn't equal billet a/c knobs, shift knob, and shifter bezel. I can give it a try, I just don't like bitchin' without offering a solution. I know how hard it is to run a site.

I guess the point im trying to make is the classifers cant be perfect they will tend to fuck up every now and then but for the most part they have done pretty good IMO

The point I was trying to make was that 1. Yes we are all human and people tend to make mistakes 2. My mustang was classified before I even decided to participate in the JFOs 3. I think there are more than just a couple of mistakes in some of the classes. If you notice I was going down the list in my class and challenging each one to make a point, that the class is mismatched. The only face off I have won that I thought was an equal match up was against HerNastyNotch, which if I would have lost I would have nothing to say because ours are pretty equally matched. The one against you surprised me because of the fact you have done much more to the exterior. I will welcome the chance to help out, but if you think it is fine the way it is you're the one in charge. I was just voicing my opinion.

I cant make the decisions for the judges... I tell them to do their best when classifying.. if they make a mistake just ask to be re-evaluated or changed classes... its not a problem if you dont agree with them...

So I take it you really didn't want me to accept your offer to help classifying people, and you don't know why I was put in the class I'm in or why I was classified without asking to be classified. No problem, I'll just be happy in whichever class I'm in and I'll STFU.

Whoever participated in the Judged Face-offs PRIOR to us creating classifications was AUTOMATICALLY classified. If you would like to be removed from a class please contact me. I can make you a classifier if you wish, would you like to judge cars too?

OK, that makes sense, since Autro Ramos challenged me after I questioned his car, and it was before the classes were made. I would be more than happy to help classify and judge.

Well, I can only imagine how hard it must be to class the cars ...... nitemare on elmstreet part 120000.

I think J is doing a marvelous job - hats off.

YsOffcr, I think you would make a great classifier/judge .....

Thanks Scott. I'm not complaining about how J is running the site, he does a great job at what he does. I just wasn't seeing how I could compete with BadSnake98, and Stang 38L, which both of them have put alot of work in their stangs. Thanks for clearing some of it up for me J.

    Thanks Crimsonblack
