Default Does anyone have any knowledge of these

    MUSTANG WHEEL ADAPTERS4-4 1/4 TO 5-4 1/2-4202
They supposedly slip install onto the 4 lug hub and get bolted on, then the top section with the 5 lug conversion gets secured and then walllah you can throw on 5 lug rims. Anyone know of these. They were listed on Ebay below. the bidding has ended but they didn't sell. Any thoughts?

I know a few ppl that used them in the past, you have to be careful of the tire rubbing the outside lip of the fender, ( or possible roll them )

    The other alternative,

You can use front rotors from a 83-88 4cyl. Ranger direct swap to give you the 5 lug up front ( pick these up at a local bone yard and have them turned ) 30.00

you can use axles from 83-92 ranger/bronco II ( double check this , its been a while ) i was looking for reciepts i had of mine.

It may cost a couple of dollars more but you have a true 5 lug setup. Theres just something about spacers I never liked. Plus you dont have to worry about different offsets on the rim

Wow, those are kinda thick (1 3/4"). You can get the 5 lug conversion from Late Model Restoration for $399.95. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ART~M1ROTDRUMS
Or the salvage yard route, which I heard front rotors from a Lincoln Mark VII and 2 right rear axles from a ranger. Not sure on the years.

    Thanks Crimsonblack

Thanks to Nicoleb3x3 for this one.

Those would make the wheels stick out so far in the front.

Yeah that's what Cobra94 and I were thinking. I just thought that if anyone had used them they might have an idea of what it would be like. It's a quick way to bolt on some 5 lug rims and Cobra94 hs got some.

For safety you should do a 5 lug conversion. If that adapter breaks while you're running down the freeway then you're in a wolrd of hurt. It is more expensive to do a conversion, but well worth it.
