I heard that someone was trying to rip people off and the car is not really up for sale! svtperformance.com has a thread talking about this and they said the same thing as you guys, but someone else came on and said that the car is not really for sale.

I saw this one too. The husband was an asshole and she was totally unappreciative about the car. Like someone said, the Bitch didn't even know if the car had a V8 or not.

What someone from this site would give to have this custom Foose car and some asshole is selling theirs. What a piece of shit! Man! I would love to have that car...

I would never to that to a Mustang. Built by Chip Foose or not but on the other hand most of the cars that get built like that are for assholes that either have enough money to do it therselves or have enough not too appreciate it. Hell I would just like to get sponsored for a super charger and I would be the happies man alive.

You can have the car for $45,000+? I also saw the show and the husband was a real dick and was throwing a fit over the strips remember. What a pair of idiots!!! and to think these two had a kid. People that stupid shouldn't be allowed to multiply!

I think some people don't really think that they have to be 100% open to whatever they decide to do when they sign up for this. I wouldn't do it, after the one where they decided the car wasn't worth saving and replaced it! I was going to try to get my Husband's Firebird on there, but after that, I'd never do it-his mom left him that car when she died, and I don't care how bad off it is (it was a daily driver in salt country for years before we took it off the road to try to bring it back).

After having your car done, the value of all the upgrades is taxable. She is a nurse and probobly can't afford the tax bill, so she's selling it. It's happened to a few people that have been 'overhauled.

I read on another thread the loan on the GT was paid off by the show, and even if it wasn't the husband was driving an 03-04 Cobra 'vert. I'm sure they weren't struggling for money. I mean brand new 05 GT and a Cobra 'vert.

Some peeps just don't appreciate cars for what they really are! They just see it as a way to get to point B from point A or as a status symbol. They don't fully understand what it meens to truly be a Mustang enthusiast! I bet they didn't even know who Chip Foose was before the show started airing. Heck I like to just meet the dude. let alne owning one of his works of art!

Some people want to just cash out. Screw em' I would love to own a car like that not cause it was made by him but for the fact that somebody paid off my car did a lot of one of a kind work to it. They paid it off so they could keep it and not have to worry about that and look at it they turn around and sell it. They obviously have the love for mustangs if they own two exp one being a cobra. I have seen a lot of peopel sell there cars after pimp my ride but i see why after watching what they do to the cars but no reason to sell this one from chip he did it with style

Has anyone taken into consideration that she may need to sell it or never had intentions of keeping the car this long. It was her daily driver and with gas $ in Cali it could noot be fiscally plasable for her to keep it. Its easy to sit on the other side and cast ill towards her...but we dont have the entire story.
