i'm building a 302 for my 87 lx, the motor is out of an 89 gt, and i plan to leave the bottom end stock for now because its in good condition. The engine will be carbureted, with a 600cfm holley single pumper and an edelbrock performer intake manifold. i will be running long tube headers with 1&5/8" primaries and 3" collectors. I am running the stock heads with a mild port job and edelbrock valve springs and i am also running a 5 speed. My question is, should i go with a B303 or an E303 motorsports cam. i want to stay under .500 lift and maintain decent drivability. i dont plan to turn more than 6000 rpms and i want the car to still have decent take off at low rpms. so B303 or E303?, other suggestions are also welcome, thanks!
