THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR DEALING WITH TALKERS WHO DO NOT KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT A MOTOR..

THE EATON S/C ,INTAKE ,THROTTLE BODY AND HEADS ARE WORTH $4500.00

I SUGGEST YOU RESEARCH BEFORE YOU TALK OR COMMENT...

Umm.. It's not really new if it's fucked up. If it were in mint condition you might beable to pull this one off, but definatley not with a spun bearing. I think 3k would be reasonable for the price though, good luck with your sale

Unfortunately, the motor is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it. You can get the top end off a Lightning/Harley Ford on Ebay for a buy-it-now of $1100. I'm still trying to talk my wife into that one. You're offering it up at a fair price as far as I can tell, but unless you know how much damage was done as a result of the spun bearing, it's kind of a crap shoot. If I had the freedom to spend 4500, I'd buy it anyway.

Don't listen to the Mach owners, they're a shifty sort...

    And Cobra owners deserve

Just stating that the engine might be worth that in your eyes, but with a spun bearing there is ALOT more that could be wrong. You are wnating someone to give you $4500 for an engine they cant see, touch, or talk too. Thats like doing a mail order on a bride. I can tell you shes hot but when she gets to ya she could be 350 LB. And if you want some of the enigines and tranny's you can put an order in with me and as soon as new shipment comes in its alllllll yours. And no not a big shot, I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE WORTH

    Default 2003 COBRA MOTOR

I OWE MOST OF YOU AN APOLOGY! I POSTED ON THIS WEB SITE THINKING THE MEMBERS WERE MOSTLY LOCAL(NO. CALIF.) I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY NO ONE WOULD WANT TO BUY SIGHT UNSEEN..I WAS EXPECTING INTERESTED BUYERS TO DROP BY AND LOOK AT THE MOTOR FOR THEMSELVES...3 PISTONS HAVE BEEN PULLED(ONE ONE EACH SIDE OF THE SPUN BEARING) AND ONLY ONE BEARING WAS INVOLVED. MOTOR IS BROKEN DOWN FOR INSPECTION...MY MACHINIST (MECH. WHO PORTS AND WORKS MY HEADS, ALSO MY MOTORS HAS LOOKED AT THE MOTOR AND REASSURES ME THE CRANK ONLY NEEDS A POLISHING) OF COURSE RECOMMEND A COMPLETE FLUSH AND BEARING AND RINGS. DUE TO METAL CONTIMINATION...THE MOTOR IS IN BEAUTIFUL SHAPE...HE HAS ALSO QUOTED ME $800 TO $900 TO REBUILD MOTOR COMPLETELY PACKAGED WITH S/C ,AND ALL ACCESSORIES I WILL POST ON OTHER WEB SITES WHERE BUYERS CAN CHECK OUT THE MOTOR FOR THEMSELVES.
FORD DOES WANT $12,000.00 FOR A COMPLETE 2003 OR 2004 COBRA MOTOR PLUS SHIPPING AND TAX.

    GOOD LUCK FINDING SOMETHING CHEAPER
