im pretty much done im saving up for a mach 1
I'm at the point where I think that I'm done (yeah, right). Then I'm gonna switch to the 04 Cobra engine/transmission and take that as far as it can go. When will the need for HP & TQ end?????

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, to me the six was a present from my parents so I had to work with it a bit. I am planning on going the 04 cobra route, but those twin turbos look really good under the hood of a six, so you never know....Originally Posted by Hockeyb0y3

It depends on how much money you have got. I talked to one guy and he has already 400hp. So the potential is there just how much money you want to spend.

o i totally understand that, i was just curious how far the people here were gonna go.Originally Posted by fastmustangs1

since trading my car isn't an option and i must keep the same engine to keep insurance a 4.2 is in the plans , i have my wheels and my stero taken care of. so my 2004 mission is accomplished
I met one guy who has like 140,000 in his V6. That it is in dollars not in any other currency. I think he is pushing like something in the neignborhood of about 500hp or so. But he has money to piss away though.Matt

Im going to sell it and purchase an 03-04 Black Cobra Convertible then do a Saleen Speedster transformation on it![]()
well the v6 mustangs i think are great cars. they may not be able to be as fast as cobras but they look the same. if you are going for looks i think it is a great car to modify. if you want speed i would say get a cobra. either way i think you can have lots of fun modding it.
Right know I am gutting the interior. I have new race seats going in soon.

600 rwhp is my goal. I am currently most of the way there for saving for my turbo.
sounds like we will have some bad ass V6s for me i fianlly got my front sus re-built with all performance parts, so now i need to round out the sus, get my interior and exterior done.

that is crazy cuz you can get the Hi Po 4.3 long block stroker motor with a good blower and be 600rwhp+ and that is only about $10,000 to $13,000 for the motor, blower and all your instalation and tuning... of course you have to do suspension and tranny but i just dont see where that much money would go... oh and to answer this thread that is the route that i am planning to go..Originally Posted by fastmustangs1
hopefully i manage to get things together to get there but it will take sometime...
