well...most here know i have had my huge winter project going.....Bored, Forged, Cammed and Blown in short.
Yesterday, we fired her for the first time, but that experience was short lived due to a bad intake manifold gasket....which led to a coolant leak. So today, thanks to Tim (a local stanger) for the hookup on another set of gaskets....we changed them out, and tried it again.
Fired right up...with ZERO leaks. YAY. Coming from basically a stock car to this...is incredible. sounds amazing. Definitely have to get used to the clutch (CF DF) its been about 7 months since i drove stick, and to jump into something ssooooo grabby was a bit tricky LOL.
I must give props to Don Lasota (lasotaracing.com) for hooking me up with a killer base tune. first tune, first try...runs GREAT.
(sorry for the crappy quality)
First startup after gasket change...
after she warmed up a bit, and the idle slowed down...(more or less to listen to the lumpy cams)
me doing a nice slow take off...(cant boost it or i would have, trust me LOL)
and me coming back...
I will definitely be getting more/better vids when i can ROMP on it.
she officially have 1/4 of a mile on the motor LOL.
