    Default fuel pump, v-8 conversion

i have an 87 lx that i am converting from a 4 cylinder to a v-8. Does anyone know if theres a manufacturer that makes an in tank fuel pump that is low enough pressure for a carburetor?

I dont think so man. Never heard of it anyway.I would get a new pickup for it and use an external pump. You could just remove that pump, and run a length of hose down where the pump was to reach the bottom of the tank.An external punp will suck through the intank pump. But if your going very high in HP,it's probably not a good idea. It could slow down the flow. I had a V6 Camaro we put a AFR headed 383 in.It had a Holley Blue pump sucking through the stock V6 pump.It had no problems at all.
