Don't forget the extra stuff you should have to install the new gears. There's a gear install kit that is suggested when replacing the rear gears...

Good luck with the install. No idea how much it will cost in your area... figure $75 per hour labor and probably a 3 hour charge... $225 plus tax maybe.

Not sure of costs in No. Va 'cause I'm in TN but gears are worth every penny - cool beans, Santa was very good to you!

Just to give you an idea, I paid $400 for my 3.73s. It included gears and everything else for the install, and labor. Some of the shops around here wanted $500 just for the install. My suggestion is call around.

    Thanks Crimsonblack

Thanks to Nicoleb3x3 for this one.

It's around 300 here man. I'm in Frederick Md. Not too far away from you. Your cars new,so your rear should be in good shape. If you get FRPP gears they should bolt right in. Frpp gears are the same thickness and all as factory gears,so they bolt right on using the same shims and all thats already there. They do still say it should be checked, but I know the guy that does mine,my bro's and my dads, has done tons of em(he estimated 50 sets of FRPP). He said he dont even check anymore with ford gears.
