    Default wiring gauge lights?

    hey, i was wondering whats the best/easyest way to wire up gauge lights correctly? i tryedto do it today but failed, couldnt get the light to turn on and off with the car lights they just stayed on, i saw something about wiring then under teh hood to the parking lights but im looking for more options have a 88'

    You could splice them into the main headlight switch on the dash.

    what color is the wire i would need to splice in to?

    Can you get to the back of your guage cluster?
    You could trace the dash wiring back to the dimmer or the switch from there. Then they'd work just like the rest of your dash lights.

    The wiring should be in a Haynes or Chilton's manual.

    Just find a stereo wiring guide and tap the dimmer wire from there

    It's been years since I had my fox body so I cant tell you the color off th etop of my head
