the average signature image size is 500x175

Wendy's is a good size. I have been doing them lately at 650x200. If you see a sig the size you like simply right click on it and select properties. It will tell you the pixel size of the image.

Thanks, HerNastyNotch & Crimsonblack! It's more of a normal size now, hopefully. I'm not a professional designer, as you can see - just spent a half hour messing around with fuzzy colored brushes until it didn't look too awful.
