You have to realize that 98% of this forum are kids whose parents bought them the V6 mustang they are "tricking" out. That's why I'm hardly on here except to check my for sale threads.

A better place to sell some nice V8 stuff is corral.net.

    PS. it's sn-95

...just about everyone is happy with the stang they got...how easy do you think it is to find someone who wants a fox body on gotstang that doesn't already own one? It's not a classified site -DUH

J, you should rescue that fox from this ungrateful fu-k
-or I wish I could buy it just to save perfectly good 5.0 from this guy

...poor fox...needs someone to love her the way she deserves to be loved.

I beg to differ, sure, there are a FEW who are kids that had their cars handed to them, but i bet that dont matter when they buying your parts huh? i would say 98% work hard for their stangs. corral is good for classifieds and performance only talk...they lack open minds. thats all they care about. GS is not mustang racist and is a great community for mustang lovers of ALL types. fast, slow, Gt, V6, show, street etc. If you actually spent more time on this site you would know that.

As for the guy who started this thread...if the stang you have for sale is as good as you say it is....why are you having such a hard time selling it? There is obviously a problem. When it comes to selling a car, try more effective methods, like your local newspaper, or mustang trader/auto trader or maybe, ummm, even possibly...uhhh EBAY. It seems you are relying on mustang enthusiast websites which were created/dedicated to people who already own mustangs!! If the car is that great, you should be able to pull a higher dollar in any of those places i mentioned. good luck....oh yeah....

i beg to differ too.. GS Kids are important we are the next generation. and not all of the kids have had there stangs handed to them. I worked my damn ass off for 3 years trying to save up money to buy my first car. and i stuck to what i wanted to achieve. then three years later i have a fox, finally sitting in the driveway. So when you say 98%, i am in the 2%. My parents offered to buy me my first car. but i didnt want them to because i didnt want to mooch offf of them. so i went and got it myself. and im happy i didnt get stuck with my dads sixer hheehehe. but yea, i saved up the 1600 and got it, so please dont say half the people here are just kids. because we need kids in the stang world. and even if peoplle's parents bought them there cars, who cares. thats their business and i dont think we should worry about it. and there parents probably got it because maybe they are still in highschool or something and they didnt have nough money to buy one. there parents are just doing what they think is best, and id do the same if i was a parent. this thread is getting out of hand and needs to be closed.

Who said there was anything wrong with it? I'm just stating my opinion, that a high number of the users on gotstang are mustang newbies. My parents bought me a truck way back in the day, and I used the money from that and other vehicles i've bought / sold to progressively work my way up to the GT I have now ( my 4th vehicle )

But back on topic, I don't get on gotstang.com to get technical info, most of the people on here barley turn their own wrenches. If I have a question I go to modulardepot.com or maybe corral (as long as it is an universal question, not modular oriented).

For the most part I only get on got stang to see if I can help anyone make their V8 run better with parts off my old setup, or giving people advice.

It's all about the love baby

The majority of Mustang owners are 20-40 years old, so theroretically the same would be said about gotstang membership. But from my personal experience from being a member since pretty much day 1, for the most part it's the younger crowd who want to "soup" up their rides.

HA! I hope that you're not implying that you've personally done more work on your car than I have on mine or anyone else for that matter.

If you think that's the case you better keep on dreaming sweet heart. I read along with your "uber" complicated 2.3 to 5.0 conversion, that stuff is child's play, you pulled out an old motor, and bolted on some headers, then and on top of that you took it to a shop finish up your mess and fix your junk trans. It's okay though, I didn't expect you to actually complete a project like that on your own.

I hand built, for all practical purposes by my self, my car from the ground up, the right way, using all the right parts, tools, and fresh drive train components. I didn't just slap in a new wiring harness, a complete used motor, leaking trans, and pray that it all works.

Next time you should try to know a little about a person before you try to make them look bad, because in situations such as this one, you end up looking like a clown

If you do all that work you say, then you would know the amount of work it took to build my car.

KEY WORDS= "PRACTICAL PURPOSES BY MYSELF" = WITH HELP
"MY CAR FROM THE GROUND UP" = you started with something right? and a LX stripped of all operational parts does not qualify?
"FRESH DRIVE TRAIN COMPONENTS" and I didn't huh?

ok, so I couldn't install my tv cable myself? no one can unless they're a experienced with the right tool to do it, if I would be stupid do it myself and was smart enough not to.

and the exhaust, I don't have a welder and can't weld and don't need to know how to weld.

and the headers, I worked 3 days straight in the FUCKING RAIN finishing my car, I really didn't feel like doing the headers when the shop was doing the exhaust anyway and I ran out of daylight!! I do have a day job you bitch.

any my tranny did not leak anythign you moron, and btw; the TV cable was installed wrong by the shop the screwed me.

clean up my mess? HELLO I GOT THAT BITCH RUNNING SO GO FUCK YOURSELF, how many girls you know that can swap an entire car? and you can't respect that?

REGARDLESS OF U TAKING THIS TOO FAR,
MY POINT WAS ONLY THAT PEOPLE DO WORK ON THEIR OWN CARS HERE

this isn't from the ground up huh?

So you're trying to say that working on your car was hard? You have a job too......Boo fucking hoo, we've all busted our hands up, burned our selves, worked in the rain, got sick, all so we can see our project end well, you're nothing special.

Also a TV cable is a cake job,, I don't see where you'd have any problem installing something as simple as that.

But like I said, you're the one ending up looking dumb because you're trying to talk smack to someone with more experience than you, so on that note so I'll leave it at that and let you get back to your dream world

PS. just an FYI You didn't get the car running, the shop did, you might of did a lot of work on it, but they cleaned up your mess

no; the shop did not get it running- did you see my video? it didn't start there I finished it at home

and I don't give a shit about you being more experienced than me, that was not my point, you took my comment a little to personnal- I was only defending other people on GS and the knowledge and work they put into their cars, whether it be a little or allot-

    Default get real

I for one give Nicole credit for doing what she did to her stang. Now Joe Friday, I don't think she was personally attacking your response...just stating that some of us on here DO our OWN WORK!!! Any time you'd like to come over and help on my LX...you're welcome....HOWEVER, you better have more experience than the mod listing on your site implies!!! If that's all you've got...you ain't touchin' my LX....too much money in it for hacking...I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you just didn't list all your mods...cause a few bolt on body parts, headers, short shifter, gears and tuning does not make an expert...which you state you are.

Not trying to knock you....but don't stick that chin out if you can't take a shot!!!!
