    Default Lug Nuts

    Just bought a new set of 17x9 Cobra R's does anyone know how tight to torque them down? Thanks!

    As tight as possible.

    Tighten them until the wheel starts moving, with the car raised. Then lower it, and get them as tight as possible. But remember to tighten them in a star pattern. Do one, then do the opposite, then the closest opposite of that one, etc...

    I was always told in auto tech school that 80 lb\ft should be max on aluminum wheels. Thats what I have been torquing mine to for 8 years now, and I have never had any warpage.
    Come on man, its stock! How could you loose!
