    Default Supercoupe Motor in a Mustang

    Heard there was a writeup about this somewhere. Was thinking of maybe pursuing it. Any thoughts? I have a 98 V6.

    I'm in the process of taking an '94 roots blown 3.8 from a thunderbird and a 3.8 from an '02 stang and making one engine. I'm using everything from the heads up from the '94 and putting them on the '02. So far everything is fitting up that way but I'm on hold for now until I get the heads reworked.

    I just bought a 89 t-bird super coupe with the 3.8 intercooled V-6. I am actually astounded as to how much balls this thing actually has. Dont get me wrong it aint no V-8 but it has some pretty good giddy up and go. I am doing some piddely fixer uppers on it and to me it seems pretty stock. If I floor it the boost jumps up to 15 to 18 psi. Is this normal? Like I said this is my first supercharged vehicle so the boost thing is new to me. I was maybe thinkin bout changing the pulley. Is this a bad idea or should I go with it. I only paid 800.00 for the car.

    232 v6power.net is were you want to look ,and yosemiddysam that kind of boost is normal for a 89 -93 my 94 makes15 with a 5% over drive pulley ,also if you add a aftercooler fan to her you'll pick up some cheap hp .steel falcon you using supercoupe or stang heads?

    I just finished the swap on Friday
    4.3 stroker
    the blower and IC are aftermarket
    (I'd love a nomination for 94-98 engine)

    I'm using the supercouple heads. The intake from the supercoupe will not fit the stang heads so I bolted the supercoupls heads to the stang block and so far so good. it's not running yet but I'm making some slow progress.

    my bad forgot you were a split port how ya doing on yours ,got mine striped done to a short block heads are getting p&p rite now and just waiting on parts to come in for mine

    heads are still out getting p&p i think they forgot about me , and just waiting on parts to come in rasied top ,blower to come back out getting ported . so i'll have some real updates in a week or so i hope
