    Question Gears for LSD rear-end

I'm having the LSD and bigger/better rear-end out of a GT installed in my 87 LX. I'm currently running a specially built C4/C5 hybrid 3-speed. I think the stock rear-end had 3.73s acccording to the VIN Code. I know it's the orginal rear-end because my mom bought the car new in 87.

I'm running a 5.0 fourbarrel, with roller rockers, headers etc. so I have enough HP to go around for now. However, the current gears serverly limit my top end! The gears in the donor car are 2.73s. I'm thinking of going with them for now to get a little more top.

I usually drive the car in town but occasionally take it out for a nice highway drive on the weekend.

    Any thoughts?

yeah drop a standard in it. LOL Nah to me it is all personal preferance. If the 373's was too low then stick with em. But you will notice a drop in off the line speed. Just my .02
THANKS TO CRIMSON BLACK FOR THE AWESOME SIG.
