Why do you need either one of them? Why not go true dual?

Would an X pipe fit in a Flowmaster true dual system? How much fabrication would it take? I've been wanting an X-pipe for a while but never really looked into it. Anybody with experience or advice?

i talked to a sales rep at rpmoutlet.com and they said that as long as the diameter of the pipes are the same it will bolt up
