    MB Quartz > All.

i'd get em off eBay however.... versus dishing out $300-$400 for a pair.

find the sensitivity on the last 2. every +6db in sensitivity means 2X as loud @ the same watts.

i'd go with the one's that are most sensitive with the most power (obviously)

I don't want to steal your thread, but starns, what do you think about the sony component system? I ask because I'm using my red sony subs in the new system and kinda want the components to match. Either that or do you have some better good looking speakers and grilles preferably red and silvers.
This is the set I'm talking about.

lmao, all you care about is the "look" of sound. Well, IMO, i've heard the sony components in a acura RSX and they sounded alrught for xplods. Joseph has xplod components in his GTR. for the money, they're a great choice. As for appearence, they match your subs, and you can get or paint the grilles in whichever color you choose

Ok what would be better that has a rather simple yet sharp look and is better in your opinion and in silver. I would rather not use the sonys but you have to remember that I show my car and the look is far more important than the sound at a show. being that you normally can't fire up anything. If I had my choice I would have kenwood for all of my components, but they arn't so hot looking. you know? This is a long time down the road because I will be making fiberglass parts to house everything. I can't afford a lot either. I can't even get rims as you can tell.
(side note) I may be half way there if some PS contracts come through for me

just take off your old speaker covers, and paint them red (if your console and door jams are red)

I'm gonna make complete fiberglass enclosures for them all(not enclosures but you know). both on the doors and on the rear panels that I'm making for my subs. remember, show before go.

those speakers are red/orange. it MIGHT look badass with red "enclosures" but it also might turn out unlike you want. i'd chop some a lil to get a good idea.

take a pic or your door, chop a "enclosure", and add a cadence

    I did a while back.
Here is a very crude version of what it will be. On both sides with interior match vinyl for a cleaner look.

The Cadence come with a guard for the speakers.. And are you looking for just speakers or a whole set up? They have subs that match the ones in that pic and they arent too xpensive.

I could machine my own if I wanted to. Like I did with my shifter. What do you have that is kinda angularly shaped in a 5.25 speaker size? And so you have anything in that same look for my tens?
