Great Post. Why is the media so negative.

the answer is simple J....confrontation sells and so does the "destruction of an innocent society".....its the same reason why we report on the 6 o'clock news that a sports team won a game today instead of a story talking about how a soldier helped out a family in need, layed down his life in order to protect a little girl/boy, or how a good semaritan helped out a community by throwing a fundraiser so that the kids would have school supplies or food for the week....

Thank you to all of the past, present and future members of the armed forces, police, fire, coast guard and any other federal, city, county, etc departments that are willing to lay their lives on the line so that I can wake up in the morning and enjoy my cup of coffee knowing that I have the freedom to walk out my front door and enjoy my life without the fear of persecution or hostility.....

I hope to be able to one day lay my life on the line if necessary to be able to uphold and provide this nation with the very principles that it was created for.....

Ya in the news you never hear about someone helping old lady across the road, someone getting cat out of tree, or and good things in society. Its always someone shooting someone, someone building something that was FU** up , or someone raped a damn dog. Stupid media.

Negative stories about the war sell because the media supports the Democratic view on the war. Our men and women over there are doing great things. We were trained to kill, trained to keep combat operations moving forward. We are there right now being diplomats. Those pictures show the positive, it shows the good people of Iraq. the people that are afraid of Saddam and the other terrorists. According to many, our troops, our civilians, and those good Iraqi people should die because we are there. The bad media is shown or talked about on the T.V. and the Radio all the time, which is why all of the people hate us and think we are wrong, including many Americans. Without war, without conflict we would have no America. People cannot forget where we came from and how we got here. If these same Americans that are aghainst war now were alive back during the Revolutionary War, I can't imagine what life would be like today. God Bless our troops and thank God for President Bush.
