The first 64 members to post in this thread will be entered into the Gotstang Invitational Tournament. The only requirements for this tourney are as follows:
a) To be eligible, you MUST HAVE at least 500 gotstang member rank points.
b) to be entered, you must be one of the first 64 eligible members to post in this thread.
Once we have 64 entrants, they will all be ranked based on their total number of gotstang car rank points. The matchups will be set just like the NCAA Basketball tournament.
There will be four groupings of 16 cars, and they will face off in this pattern:
1 vs 16
8 vs 9
-------
5 vs 12
4 vs 13
-------
3 vs 14
6 vs 11
-------
7 vs 10
2 vs 15
For the winners in each round, the point breakdown will be as follows:
Round 1 - 50 points each for the 32 winners
Round 2 - 100 points each for the 16 winners
Round 3 - 175 points each for the 8 winners
Round 4 - 275 points each for the 4 winners
Round 5 - 400 points each for the 2 winners
Round 6 - 550 points to the tournament champion
