I ran a 13.758 @ 100.16 mph on saturday. That's a gain of .2 seconds and 2 mph since last year. Should have the blower installed by the end of april I'm thinkin So then I shall be running 12s i sure hope!

Does having a pair of 2.3L 4cyl's and something shaped like a snail bolted to my engine make me slow?
Add a few letters to VTEC and it's pretty cool.... VorTECh
very nice
what kind of blower you puttin on?
sorry...i see its a vortech
you will be running high 11's at worst
just get your driving down
if you need some tips...pm me. avid drag racer
update your 1/4 mile time nice pics
I really doubt I'll run 11s, I should run around 400 rwhp right around stock cobra numbers and they are running mid 12s if driven right.
I figure I'll pull low 12s at best.

At 400 rwhp, if you manage to keep the weigh below 3600 lbs with your entire setup, and taking into consideration you've got a solid rear axle, you should be hitting low 12's.Originally Posted by MachGT
At 385 rwhp with almost 3700 lbs and IRS, Cobras hit mid to high 12's, so I'm sure you'll be a bit faster than that. Lighter, better rear end for launching, and an extra 15 rwhp....

why does everybody go vortech? Man procharger is the only way to go. Do your studdies and see what kinda boost numbers come from both. and things like that.

a non aftercooled vortech v2 s-trim will make about as much power as an intercooled procharger p1-sc. That's why it runs less boost, cuz the blower itself doesn't rob as much power through the belt drive.
(my mods are listed on my member page too btw)
