I saw this on another site and was wondering if I should code it into our site... its kinda like 1 on 1 car show.. you chose someone to 'battle' then they accept.. and people vote on which car they like better... sounded kinda cool to me... I dunno maybe we could think of our setup?

j, seems ok enough to try it out. if it doesn't work out, then you can just get rid of it.

Sounds like a good idea to me, we could also do something similar with the monthly car show winners, just gotta keep the wars between similar cars cause my stock stang wont come close to most of the cars on here...

I guess I could integrate it into the categories and have them choose the category to face them in

im a member on a site like that...

this is how it works...someone sends a challenge to another member for a certain amount of 'points' and the other person can accept or decline...

then, on the face-off screen both cars and their specs are displayed and the members vote for their favorite...

it will basicly turn into a giant popularity contest, but it's very fun

that sounds good! i dont think you should break it up into categories though.i think it should be a free for all.

I like the categories idea. Like not by YEAR, but more by motor etc. Like a GT is going to get more votes, just because it is a GT. Even if it doesn't look as good, etc..

You seem to be fairly good with computers - maybe you should think of getting a job in that field, maybe someone in the forums can hook you up with a job at a Best Buy or something....

i think the people on here can appreciate the work done to a car ,not just because its a gt,cobra,v6 etc.if you look at erics,codys,stang 38l.i would put them up against alot of cars on here.regardless of model

aight this is coming along nicely...

The battle will have two time limit options.. either 24 hours or 48 hours.. then its taken off the battles page and points are given out.
