Still not sure...I really like the new edge cars. I like it enough to own it, just not enough to pay for it just yet.

Looks nice. But it will cost a lot more than 30k. Try about $70,000 dude.
If only I could afford to get one.

I think $50k would be a fair price if they wish to continue targetting the same buying audience.
I might consider trading in my '04 for one, but not sure... I really love the '04's looks. Maybe by then I'll be able to afford both and the damn '06 convertible GT my fiancee wants. sigh

i dunno, high 30s seems deemable. they just basically took the drivetrain of the f150, but its a kick in the balls for the 4.6 power block, and hello triton.
It will be mine....oh yes it will be mine!!!

From what I hear, the hood scoop is
just a mock-up.. Rumor has it, the scoop will look like the
Boss 429's in production.
Good info... I hope they provide suspension options, instead of sticking solely with live axle... Although I miss the burnouts of the GT, I PREFER the handling capabilities of the Cobra with IRS...
Live axle to me is a no no, with the kind of driving I do most... Sprited driving on the twisties...
I'll keep my '04 for a while. I still like the looks of it over the 05 body style. If they make the new Cobra look as agressive as the photoshops I've seen (closer to a Boss 429...my favorite Mustang), then I'll consider a trade.

That red one is the mule. I've seen it driving around here. A guy in my club test drives for Ford and confirms the 450-475 HP. No IRS. The Black picture is a photoshop and is not production. The actual one will be shows at the NY Car show March 23rd I believe.
I read it was 462hp and 489tq. For the 07 Cobra. Damn those are going to be fast. But will they come with a blower.

If they use any of the current incarnations of the 4.6 DOHC or the 5.4, yes, those numbers point to forced induction being used.Originally Posted by fastmustangs1
I really think (and hope) they're gonig to go with the 5.4.
