    Default burning brake lines?

    i got flows and tailpipes from a friend with a cobra, and i went to get a quote to put them on, guy quoted me $75 to put them on, cut Y pipe, and run pipes to em....but he said sometimes on the mustangs, the right exahust pipe burns the brake lines. WTF is this?

    the brake lines are metal except the little part that goes to the caliper. If he does that shotty of a job where teh exhaust pipe is that close to the rubber brake line you should look else where for an install,

    Installing duals shouldn't cause a problem w/ the brake lines. I have never heard of this. Just make sure that he doesn't do a crappy job on your duals.

    The exhaust gets hot and it rubs against the brake lines causing them to burn. You will have to relocate the brake lines away from hot and moving parts. That will be your alternative. Good Luck,
