Yep, but I wouldn't drive that particular bucket to 7-Eleven to get a Slurpee. It's your grandma's car with a blackout treatment, then the hood is cut to shit to let enormous turbo's reside...hmmm, can't really say under the hood in this case can we? Kudos for big HP numbers, big ass for having such a lame ass car to show it off in.Originally Posted by J
Anyone ever see the $120,000 Mustang the rich guy built (was in a magazine about 6 years ago though)? It had over 1000hp from a blown 4 valve, 6 piston alcons, etc., but it was totally streetable. That is waaay more respectable IMO.

3.8L turbo charged v6 and thats what the computer could read, remember it lit the tires up so the computer didnt read that hp

The Grand National X (or GNX for short), is built for the track and can outhandle most stock Mustangs.Originally Posted by NoSlo5.0
That particular one doesn't seem to be a GNX, as if it was the guy wouldn't have modded it like that (GNX was a limited production car, and they go for upwards to 100 grand if in decent shape, most sell in the 35 ~ 65 grand range). I believe about 547 of them were built.
The GN is still a pretty potent car, for its time. Its suspension wasn't as well behaved as the X's, however.

News flash: that's not a grand national V6. It's a very potent and nice sized chevy V8.
Awesome car none the less but There are 6 cylinder supras with single turbos making 1500 hp and 5.0 stangs with smaller engines making well past 1000 hp.
Heck, GI Joe's little 2V 4.6L is in the process of getting built to 1000+
Fully forged built long block by modular ford powerhouse, a 2.2L Kenne Bell and a PA C4 tranny. They pegged the fuel and maf at 650 hp. They just upgraded to a Aeromotive Pro series 11102 pump and new maf. It's making around 775 ish and that's without his 150 shot
He ran low 11's lifting at the 1/8 mile mark and coasting the last half of the track. This was back before they had the new fuel pump and nitrous so they couldn't do a full run.

its a chevy, loads of tire roasting power, what more could u want? lol it just something cool to see the tries spin so fast so quick on a DYNO

Ford's new GT supercar hazes the tires on the dyno from the factory floor. ford says 500 hp. the dynos are saying 625 STOCK...
I know where you can get the crate engines for these cars with wiring harness and all things necessary for the conversion.
but..
It'll only cost you $40,000 HAHAHA

Yeah our track is a 1/4 mile track. He lifted off the throttle at the 1/8 mile mark and coasted the other half of the track running I think 11.2 in the full 1/4.Originally Posted by BruntzySVT
