Default Fire Fighter's Lingenfelter (sp?) Camaro

To get the "Fire Fighter in Uniform" pics for Ultimate Hunts, I drove to the local Fire Station. Only one fellow was left as the others had just gone on a call with their big fire truck. As it turned out, he was just moving his 'Maro and I got to check it out. A 2010, 427ci/770hp "Lingenfelter" Camaro (he said it was an LS-8 - an engine I hadn't heard of). It had a "Magnus" Supercharger and some really cool "Fire" airbrushed on the inside...appropriate for his line of work! He said they're having a car show (rare in Abilene) Aug 21, so I'll enter both my 66 & my 05 Roush 'Verts.

Sweet. I used all Lingenfelter parts on My T/A, and some on one of my camaro's when I built them. Really good stuff. Not cheap either though. lol

    Should look like this gunner.

Looks kinda plain compared to what some of the older Lingenfelter stuff looked like. Not much in the bling dept. Big in the performance dept though. My kinda style. lol

Hey all, this is CPGs son. My Dad said he saw the engine bay and mangus S/C but didn't get a chance to take any pics. Nice ride though.

That looks hot. Thanks Mark. I can see where there would be some potential to dress it up tho. Some paint and chrome goodies here and there.

Briefly visited a rare car show here in Abilene (they got permission by supporting 4H Clubs). Got pics of Jessy Horton's Lingenfelter w/ engine bay (second of the pics) & a number of other nice rides. I really loved the 62 ProStreet Galaxie w/501ci BBF & 2 Quick Force Carbs on USA Blower - SWEET!

Nice pics Guy! Thanks for sharing. That engine looks nicer than the other plain one. Polished super charger looks like mine...
