??? VANITY PLATE ???

I have an '07 GT/CS in Connecticut and I am looking for some ideas for a new vanity plate. Kinda getting sick of my current plate of 2 years FAAAST.

Mine is also an 07 so I came up with a nobrainer ... 07STANG

Vanity plates are gay.....not to mention an easy target for someone with some computer skills to run your plate in the DMV data base....find out where you live...scope the place out...and BAM! car is stolen or up on blocks...(not giving out ideas here but...just saying)....my advice? "low key" (sounds like a vanity plate?)....the car itself already stands out...why make it easy for would be grand theft auto?

Any license plate can be searched in state databases if they're made available to the public, not just vanity ones. Some restrict the lists to law enforcement or paying registrants, but rubn1out makes a good point that vanity plates are more memorable (thief sees a nice car with catchy plate, doesn't need to stop and write the plate down in order to remember it later & look it up)
