    Default Few questions for opinions. 347 Stoker

    I have a 347 Stroker. Gt-40 upper n lower, SVO Alum heads port matched, x303 cam.

    Any input on Exhaust? Long tube or Shorties in to 3" pipe?

    Shorties are from bottom end (Lower Rpm power)
    Long Tube are for top end (Higher Rpm power)

    Now the stroker makes plenty of Bottom end power.
    Not sure what to run, Maybe someone with a stroker could give me ur input from experiance?

    Also, injectors & MAF..?

    36lbs Injectors? calibrated 80mm MAF? Any Sugestions?

    Im also going to run some Nitrous on this engine..
    Around 150-200 Shot..

    Any help would be great.

    I run a 80mm mass air, 30lb injectors. Go with long tubes. You could use a bigger intake too. I bet it make tons of torque with that GT-40 on there. A Performer RPM would be a good choice. A 150-200 shot should be OK, but make sure its tuned right, or you'll be buying a new block. If its a factory block anyway. Weve ran up to 250 on my ol' mans car without issues. Thats NOT recommended though.lol

    Yeah well when i bought the car, i had no idea it was a 347 stroker. The dude i bought it from didnt know anything about it. It blew a head gasket like a month after driving it, so i tore it down and redid the gaskets, Noticed it was .30 over, Started lookin into the engine more, yanked it from the car and and found an ID tag on the block from Ford Racing Technoligies. thats when i found out it was a 347. It had stock upper and lower and stock injectors and maf. so i started tinkering with it and pulled the cam plug out and saw it had a small cam E303 so i put the X303 in. i had the Gt-40 layin around from a previous car with port matched upper to lower and polished lower. then port matched the heads to the lower and this is where im at now. with the stock upper and lower stock injectors and maf i turned a 12.6. thanks for the info.
