    Default Auto or Manual?

All, I am new to this site and looking to buy a 2000-2004 stang. I really do not know how to drive manual. Are my only options GT? I really was looking at a Cobra or Saleen.

Unfortunately I only know one person that has a manual and they aren't going to teach me on their car .

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

If you are dead set on a Cobra its only gonna come in manual. A Saleen came in either or. But you can get a GT in automatic it really shouldnt be a problem to find at all. Hope this helps some

If you do go w/an automatic have someone checked it out real good. Manuals seem to be more forgiving than automatics. It's only natural for a Stang owner to push their rides. Some harder than others. A new clutch is a lot cheaper than a automatic tranmission.

I agree with REEF and Fro. If you could find an automatic Cobra or even a Saleen it's probably a car that either the dealership or a customer special ordered and the asking price would most probably be more than it's worth. I would start out with a GT, do some research and build the car that you want. I think you would be further ahead this way and have some fun doing it.
