transmission advice help

ok im 55 and understand well, ok with that out of the way, I am replacing my trans with a 94/94 trans I bought it with the intention of swapping my input shaft and retainer out, well when I go the old one out to my surprize the tag comes back to a 87 2.4 , no wounder it grenade, well my question is what shafts (MODEL VEHICLES INTERCHANREABLE SHAFT ) would swap out,that would fit my t5, I understand it is quit the same trans except for the length of the retainer and shaft by one inch bla blha, lol can someone help me here, the shaft I photo is the 4 cyl one I don't have the 94/5 apart, it has a 20 something? tooth fr0om what I understand
