I had my GT with 4.10's hitting the rev limiter in OD. Speedo needle was wrapped back around and pegged at the little peg at 0 mph. The intersate lines had blended into 1 solid line. I have no idea how fast it was but according to the online speed calculators, with 4.10 gears, 18" wheels and 6K rpm's, it was right at 162. So if the calculators are right then that's what it was. I double checked with a couple other calculators and they all pretty much said low 160's.
The RSX is geared to reach ~174 MPH in 6th gear, but is impossible due to aerodynamic drag. I've had it to 135 ish in 5th and it was still pulling.
Not to mention, HP... To reach the vicinity of 175 MPH in a car with a coefficient of drag between .29 ~ .32 (most small compacts fall in that range), you would need about 320 ~ 350 HP... You could always go downhill, though... heheQuote:
