Man that is a really clean turbo install. And most kits I've seen either have the turbo mounted in the center in front of the alternator or over on the passenger side.
Does the passenger side header manifold wrap back around to the manifold on the drivers side?
It does. Both headers go down toward the front of the engine, instead of pointing rearward. The passenger side header runs into a crossunder pipe, and meets up with the drivers side header, right before they join, leading straight up, into the turbo. the Tial 40mm wastegate is on the crossunder pipe, right in front of the passenger side brake assembly. Check out this picture (the crossunder pipe is right behind the tubular k member). You can see how both headers collect in the cross-under pipe, and join to go up to the header. You can also see the wastegate.

Sweet. I notice it's a TDC kit. They had a little trouble in the past didn't they? Back when I was contemplating a kit for my car, TDC was falling behind on orders and all sorts of other drama. If I had it do do today, it'd be a tough call between the turbo and a kenne belle. Both make incredible power and are both about the same price.
In the end though, I think the turbo sounds better. :thumpupn:
It is a TDC kit. I had a horrible time with them. I got in just as things were going to hell. You can read about my experience with Scott Sussman and TDC on my website.

Click on the link titled "History of the Car."
nothing shocking there. At least you got it finished! Did you ever recieve any money back for the parts that you didn't recieve? Or any sort of compensation? Those guys went bankrupt just as they were getting going.
Why, I have no idea. There were guys all over stangnet and modular depot sending in their orders.
When I was contemplating a kit, I was going to get tim (cobrakiller) over in alpharetta, GA to put on one of his single turbo kits. Their test cars with stock internals were making 400 (his limit for the stock internals) at under 10 psi. I was going to get that and a set of VT's blower cams...but I didn't. :(
No. Scott Sussman is a fraud. All of the money was going into his car, not into parts or R&D. If you are still interested in a turbo kit, you should check out www.turbomustangs.com
Now, let's get this thread back on topic with one more picture of my car. ;) This picture was taken before the Cobra R splitter got ripped from the car by a possum on the highway. A 2001 Cobra front bumper is now on the car.
EDIT - I forgot how large this picture was. Here's a link to the picture instead.

Hey droptop, are those cracks on your front splitter or just debris or something?
The splitter was already cracked. The possum just finished it off. The R splitter was my favorite, but I still like the look of the 01 Cobra.
Let's not forget my baby... I think this thread needs a nother notch or two...

My GS? website has plenty more info on her including befores, after, mods, and dynos... She is one sweet lil thang... I mean Stang!
WTF is up with the 4" hood?? i mean, i have a 2.5" but i need the clearance...lose the hood, and paint the trimQuote:

But you just rock on with your own style and leave mine to me!
NICE!! although i cant really comment on the guages since i have 2 guages in the A/C vent for nitrous and fuel pressure, and a tach, i agree completely with the interior mods on foxes like painted pieces etc. i just think that should stay with the import crowd. which brought me to my 4" cowl comment...being so obstructive of view, and you really dont need such a cowl, its not like theres a 408 with an extra tall manifold, double pumpers, and a huge air cleaner under the hood.Quote:

The 4' cowl does not look "ricer" at all. The hood should stay with the import crowd... it started with the stangs....If you do not like it that is your opinion...
I have seen this car in person and it is gorgeous. There is not one thing I would change that Web Witch and her husband has done to this car.
We all have our own look and style and that is hers.
Personally that is one of the nicest looking notches ive seen.. and I love the hood.. gives it a bad ass look!
I think thumpin is just jealous cause yer hood is bigger.. ROFL
No matter what your girlfriend tells you... sometimes... bigger is better.
lol, everyone is ganging up on me for posting an opinion...sorry but cowl hoods were created to give more clearance for taller intake manifolds, bigger carbs, and taller filters.
and its an opinion of mine to say that using a 4" hood when you dont need to is "ricer-like"...i'm just a purist i guess

on the 95R...it was for hood clearance for the 351 because of the taller deck height, and beefier 351 version of the cobra intake manifold ...and on the 00R, it was for hood clearance for the 5.4's unique intake manifold design...hence why you only see a little rise in the middle of the hood. the 93R used an OEM hood because the deck height remained the same with the 302 based motorQuote:
