Honestley i'm speachless. you were racing at speeds over 140 miles per hour on a public highway? wass this over a bridge or anything or just on the freeway?

my license is still gone yes i did my time. since it was a first offense they said i had to do 6mos. in jail and 350 hours in comunity serves and lost my license for one year i will be getting it back in apirl 05. i drive my notch to work only with out my license

So the cop was not so nice after all. Reminds me of a movie I have with the Gumball 3000 rally from new york to LA. Some cop busted a ferrari f-50 doing 183. When they talked to the guy later, he was like "yeah, i gotta go pick up my other driver at the jail, i just got his bail money." Sorry bro, at least your over halfway done with your suspension...

i got my old 71 mach 1 to 111 and the car was shaking and i was pretty scared, but my 03 mach i had around 110 just driving on the highway and it felt fine.

I hit redline in my Cobra on 3rd, which is about 140 MPH. I wasn't really staring at the speedo to be honest, but after I shifted to 4th I let off the gas.

I took the GT vert up to 135, and the fastest I've ever taken a car was a calculated speed of 157 MPH in my '94 GSX with a 16G turbo @ 17 psi. I took it all the way up to redline in 5th. The speedo only shows 145 MPH, but by calculating gear ratios I came up with 157.something at its redline in 5th.

That was, believe it or not, racing a black 360 Modena... He was gaining on me all the way up, and literally walked me once I passed 5000 RPM in 5th (I think that was about 145 MPH).

Damn Ferraris, haha... And just before people here think I'm a fool that thought a GSX could beat a 360, I did not know what kind of car it was until he was just behind me... At 2 am, at freeway speeds, and about 10 car lengths behind me, I thought I was playing with a 350Z, no joke... This was almost 2 years ago.

I went 120 in the stang, but I wasn't trying to see how fast it would go, was just making my point to some chick in a BMW.

I had the Fairlane running @ 4800 in 4th gear, the speedo is broke, so I can only guess. The rear end is 2.73 gear ratio.

3.73's almost redlineing 5th my tach only say's 140 and it was well pased that...
i was racing a friend of mine in his vett and he said he was aroud 150 and i was moving away from him so im not really sure how fast i was but it felt great and i want

That's about 155, that's where I was in my 95 when I had the felony style traffic stop. Stupid ass car has flames shooting out the pipes because my Speedbrain didn't cut fuel properly on decel...One more thing for the police to bitch about.

Just wanted to correct myself... I was in 4th gear with my Cobra, then shifted in the 5th. At around 120 MPH I wasn't really looking down at the speedo, but shortly after I glanced at my tach and realized I was right at 6500 RPM... shifted and then let the foot off the gas.

I believe redline in 4th is about 140 MPH, or probably like 139.something, hehe.
