atleast I hope. Bring on the numbers
There is something real wrong there. Your tq numbers are way to low. With my mods I put down 297rwhp and 319rwtq on three straight runs. To have that kind of work done with those numbers something isn't right. With just the cai and headers off-road h-pipe(wich is now an x ) and flows I put down 264rwhp and 301rwtq. Something is roobing you man. I hope you get it figured out because you would have a real beast on your hands.
What could it be
i think J is on to something here...how can you have "pretty much everything" done to it but only putting out such low number.
Shoulda got a camaro.
i cant tell ya. I have all the receipts and personally seen all my parts befor ethey got installed and I checked the port and polishing job. i really dont understand why it is so low. the guy named Sean from MAS "ya might have seen his 03 cobra in MMFF cobra shootout" built the moter and he told me that the guy must have gave me a super safe tune because he thought the engine would be at least 310 but no more that 330. I think when i get back im gonna take it somewhere else and have it tuned again. Hell they charged me 900.00 for the diablo predator chip and they tuning on the dyno. They all was acting like Dang man that is a sweet number for my car. I told them i thought it was a lil low and they said that it was Respectfull for a 2 v 4.6. I spent 10 g's on that damned moter so yeah as you can guess i was not impressed.over 3 of that was just in labor. i think when i get it ready for a nitrous tune i am going to have them tune it again for regular and see what happens. If anyone can think of any reasons or things that might be holding my numbers down please let me know
Damn, you got took! They saw you coming!!!Quote:

Yeah I know. I should have just bought an 03 cobra moter
Or 2 or 3 of them for that price. You could have gotten the whole drivetrain (oil pan to blower, trans and all) and still had a good amount of money left over to mod it up. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20.Quote:

The next thing is what is your compresion at and are you running a stroker motor. these things combined could help in the explanation. If the pistons are at 8-8.5, that is a big loss when running n/a. And without it being stroked it would explain the loss in torque. If it was built to be run forced induction/bottle fed ok I can see it, But with compresion that low it would be set up for HIGH BOOST/or a BIG SHOT( 250 or higher). The next question is what is it stable at. 600 hp? If so the guy who put it together went with the wrong combos. You would be feeding the motor more then the internals could handle. Give me the specs on your motor build and we will figure this out :beerchug:
