Be safe everyone. Please don't make the mistake of trying to wait it out. No possesion is that important that it is worth your life. Take care and let us know how you make out. GOD BLESS
Im in Columbus, Jawja at the alabama state line. Hit me up if you need somewhere to stay. I have 2 extra bedrooms and extra bathroom. :thumpupn:
I'm north houston, west of rita's suppose path. Can put your car in garage and got 2 extra bedrooms. As for rita, it's going right through livingston... thus wiping out my lakehouse :( Need a place to go, hit me on AIM: thethraxxer

Tweety, got the garage ready for our cars to get to know each other and got the beer and rum ready. :beerchug: Going tonight to fill up all the vehicles...predictions now is that gas could get as high as $5/gallon, and get munchies in case the power goes out. I am 35 miles outside of Austin and they are predicting that we will get Cat. 1/2 winds with maybe 2-6 inches of rain. Who knows, but we will be prepared! Going to be crazy, but we will at least be safe and Tweety's car and mine will be safe in the garage. :thumpupn:
Good for you Stang Girl, thats a lot better than her staying down there trying to ride that thing out. Sounds like a Party in Bastrop!Quote:

Them and another friend and his spouse will be staying with Stang Girl and I till this blows over, I will prolly also go and help them both asses the damages as soon as thier ready to head back home, and allow them to hang out till they get rebuilt and on thier feet.
Please keep them and everyone else in your prayers as they will need it.

best of luck to all from every GS member north of the border. :beerchug: hopefully it wont be as bad as they make it out to be,cat 5 is nothing to laugh at though.i think you had better get out while you can.....scott
What kills me the most is the thought of them loosing everything they have worked so hard for.
We pray for the best.
Glad to hear it. I was worried about Tweety and everyone out that way. I gave Tweety this website address that we (the Air Force) use to track the hurricanes: http://www.boatus.com/hurricanes/tracking.asp it is a pretty good site. So hopefully it will help some of you. Do not take chances you life is more important.Quote:
