Just Got the Car Back
The car's been in the shop for several days. The engine was taken down to the heads and block. New gaskets were put on everything along with fixing several leaks (she's leak free now). The new valve covers and powdercoated manifold were installed.
Here's a picture taken about ten minutes before I got her home. Got some cleaning up to do now.

Tim its looking very good, can you tell a big difference now!!!

Now if you can just get the rest of the engine bay to look as good as that, you'll be in good shape. J/K looks great.

Well, gotta mask off the Throttlebody and paint it... maybe black or silver. Other areas need to be masked off and painted as well along with some material to wrap around the bundles of wire coming from the firewall. Might paint the interior of the engine well a flat black rather than having it look the dirty white it is now. I was also considering some of the black paint for the backs of pick-up trucks that's textured. Not sure, but the dirty fading white in there is ugly.
I am going to check out your engine bay that you recently painted on the 83. I like the job you did on that.

That intake looks sweet. I suggest since you dont have a mass air sensor, you install a cold air kit that draws from the inner fender well. That will get rid of those ugly silicone couplers and crappy hose clamps. That will make it look a bit cleaner, and I think you will be happier with the outcome.

I have the extensions to take it into the fender well, but... I hate trying to tighten things up inside the fender well. Might go back to it after I get the new wheels on. I'll have to pull the rim to paint the brakes anyways.
