'98 Cobra Overheating
I had a belt go on my '98 today. I was only about two miles from the house so I drove her on in. I replaced the belt and everything seemed great. I left to go about my day and she overheated again. Any ideas what might have changed or where i need to look to fix this new problem???
thanks for the help.

Did it get really hot? i had a car not my cobra do this it got hot and created an air pocket in the engine. check the fluid level and take the radiator cap off and let the car idle till it warms up, sse if it bleeds air out or if fluid is flowing past the thermostat.

Thanks for the idea. We are going back out to the car now after it has sat for a couple of hours. It was really odd that it did not cool down after the new belt was in place and things were working normally again. I'll post back in a while with an up.date

Okay!! I think all is well with the Cobra. It cooled all night and then this am we added a little water and she kept her cool, i think maybe the thermostat may have stuck when the car heated ip. I wasn't sure what it could be at the time and I did not want to cook my baby. Thanks for the help.
