any 5.4 swappers, news for ya.

I don't know how many of you are active on other forums but since I just found this one I figured I'd let y'all know about a coming product that's really exciting for me.

HPS (www.hiperformancesolutions.com) is about to bring out a new intake manifold just for 5.4 2v swaps into mustangs (there's a F-x50 model coming too). It's based on their 4.6L Hardball'r intake (which I have and LOVE) but is set up to mate to a 5.4 without adapter plates and to clear the stock hood.

HPS and I (I'm just a customer) are working together with another company to bring out a commercially available long tube header for the 5.4 2v in mustang too.

In any case, that's the news. If you've ever considered a 5.4 swap it just got easier. I can't tell you enough how much I love my 5.4 (5.5L actually). It's got manners when you need em and it totally lacks them when I just want loud and fast.
