e7 Heads

My 87 LX has a transplanted 5L from an earlier model. I picked up two spare heads (I suspect to be e7s - probably off an 87 Stang). The casting mark looks like V7TE. Does this sound right, or am I looking at the wrong mark? I can't find "e7" anywhere on the head (btw - I only looked at one).

Turns out, the casting mark was "E"7TE which pretty much indicates E7 heads. Anyway, I got them for free and sold them for fiddy-bucks. :thumpupn:

Turns out the casting mark was E 7TE - on one head it was small and a bit obscured, on the other is was large and clear. Guess which one I looked at? :silly:
