07 headrests

These are the most annoying things. Does anyone have any idea what to replace them with? I want headrests, just not ones that are so angled that they point at the damn road in front of me. Any ideas? Please and thanks!

On our 92 fox we used a dull hack saw blade down the front to release the button.We had a customer with an 03 GT that this would not work on,so we flipped the seat back forward and unfastened the bottom.Then I slid my hand up under the plastic inside and released it that way.

I thought this was easier than the hack saw method.Ford tells you to undo the seat.I'm not sure how the 05-07 ones fasten.You might want to try unfastening it when you go to swap them out.

I know you had asked what to replace them with,but wasn't sure if your next question was how to take them off.

I'd just have to say - get new seats. Get a set out of a '98 Cobra - black leather would be nice. 2000 + seats suck, esp. the 2005 +... IMO. Check on ebaymotors.com or w/ your local dealer.
