I know this should probley go in the v8 section. Well i dunno. Anyway question is what is the diffrance in a blower for a fox body and a blower for a new stang. My friend has a S trim for his 90 something stang and was askin if i wanted it, said he woudl sell it for 600 bucks. It is a vortech S trim. worth my while? Also what woudl i need to make this work? :nailbite:

fuel upgrades and you will prolly need custom brakets and piping, thats assuimg it will work on your engine, it might cost ya a lot more than $600 for everything else.

Leave it, you'd spend over a thousand just getting the rest of the necessary stuff to make it work on your car.

ok. Thanks, So it would be better to just buy a s trim kit for my car? Or a KB if i hit the lotto?

stick with a kit made for you car. reserch the kits your looking at also to see what they come with and what else you will need to finish the setup.

I went KB for this reason and more.

KB is expensive as hell right? A lot more than a S trim?

yes.. but worth it... Everyone locally that went with the new procharger kit for the 03 cobra has already swapped it out for the big KB.

reserch them, They produce diffrent results. The KB is there right off idle and the torque curve is better(IMO) then a centri. Heard alot of issue's with streetability with centri's also. I went with a KB cause it was cheaper then the Roush setup. The Roush setup would have required modding my engine to install in my year.

The KB was cheaper and produced better power from any other Roots/Screw style avail at the time. I talked to a few people that had KB and they all said that they loved them. Heard no bad comments on them and liked what people said. Then I test drove a KB equiped car. That was it :devil:

Yea i love the numbers from these kb's. Guess i just got to save lol
