well here.....I want to update my double, single DINs (am/fm/tape & separate CD player) with the larger 1 1/2 DIN insert. Any one know what’s involved behind the plastics..... I.E. metal brackets etc - what other changes need to be done? My thoughts are to add a flat screen NAV. I don’t want the retractable single DIN model, as I already have one in my other car and don’t like how it blocks other dash controls.
