my brother in law just purchased a 1996 mustang GT. It has flowmasters, a jet performance chip, and a K&N filter but it otherwise stock. Right away he noticed the lack of performance of the 4.6 and decided to add nitrous. He wants to keep it to a conservative 50 shot and i told him i'd help him find a kit and install it.
So, on to the question. I have very little experience with mod motors, so i was wondering if adding nitrous could adversly affect the plastic intake manifold? has anyone had trouble when adding nitrous to a stock 4.6 with the plastic manifold?
any help is appreciated, thanks.

yeah I blew a hole the size of my fist in mine but with a 125 shot and the wrong pressure(too high). 50 shot should be ok but the set ya back in the seat will be minimal. If ya plan on no kidding using nitrous build yer engine with forged internals and spray away. Check my page for more mod info. GOOD LUCK
