I'm gonna have to do a search for this one? What's it do, where does it go.
Most importantly...
How is it going to make your car faster?

I also have a roush tool box. but for the body, this is one of the last pieces to go on. I'm thinkin about a different hood down the way a while though.
once these are painted, they will be the last body mod for a while.

Jeez, for the price of those things, you could have picked up just about any aftermarket rear bumper cover...

It adds to the "Bling" factor which in turn lowers the 1/4 mile time lol. To each there own, What kinda hood ya thinking about?

Can you tell me one rear that has the mustang text, angular look, and OEM quality?
Besides I got them at about half of what it would have costed from Roush. :thumpupn:

When you say OEM quality, are you referring to the heat induced wave in my factory bumper cover? Joe's go it going too. Sharp lines, better than factory quality=Cervinis Stalker...
At least you got it on sale.

I'm sorry, but his stuff is way overpriced. I actually thought about that kit when I first got my car, but about that time is when he replaced the drawing with actual car pics. :ugh2:
So far though, these parts have been the best quality that I have worked with(much better than my Cervini's speedster cover)
Sorry to hear about your bumper though, it's wierd that yours did that.
Anyway, here is an update.
This is the final basecoat without any sanding so far. :woohoo:

What do you mean, :ugh2: ? The stalker is far and away the BEST looking body kit in the world for new edge cars. :thumpupn:

Cody, what kind of paint are you using?
BASF base with House of Kolor pigment. Best paint I have ever used.
Look at those pics... and that is just the base coat. smooth like that without even fine sanding on either the primer or the base.

The clear is where the rubber hits the road. Did you just Bulldog (tie coat) the pieces, or did you go through the trouble of the priming/wetsanding before basecoat? I'm just curious, I used the Matrix brand paint system on my body kit, decent results. My hood sucks (anything but perfect pretty much sucks in my book), but my spoiler was 110% perfect. I'm still learning...

I just dry sanded with 220. I used a high build primer with about 8 coats so that I could just sand off any blemishes that I needed to. Then 6 coats of base smoothed right up. I'm about to go start to wet sand the base and I may try and get a coat or two of clear on tonight. This stuff dries completely in like 20 min without using heatlamps. I love it. :w00t:

Well, the first clear went on about 30min ago.
First injury on this project as well. :(
I was making the jig for the final sanding and buffing phase, and shot myself in the hand. :wow:
And because I knew you would ask for it, once I had it washed out and bandaided and found the nail that I tossed across the shop, I took a pic. :gso:

Well, I started on sanding out the blemishes, and as I did the paint started to peel. Turns out that the primer that I started with didn't stick to the parts so the paint cured to the primer but not to the part. I just spent the last few hour peeling off my last weeks work so there won't be any updates for a while. Hopefully my father can pick up the new primer and adhession promotter tomorrow so that we can at least start before I leave to return to college on sunday. I'm pretty down right now. so in case you guys were wondering, there may not be many chops for the next couple of days.

That's why I asked if you Bulldogged it or not. You can pick it up in spray cans at WalMart instead of buying it from the supply store. There may be other tie coats out there, but that's what the shop recommended to me when I bought all my supplies.

This primer I had shouldn't have required an adhession promoter. It was designed for urithane parts with rough sanding. But I now have the right stuff to really stick to it. :thumpupn:
