My mom isa getting my sister one for Xmas. She's had it reserved forever, but won't get it until the time is right. Lol

Brenden and I are looking for a PS3. But probably not for months and months. All these new releases have the glitches that black out your games. Poor Japanese kids.

these things are ridiculously overpriced....The PS3 is 600 bucks or something....way too much money especially for all the problems that they will have just like the 360..I have an Xbox (friend bought it for me for my 21st) and a PS2 Ive had forever....until the prices go WAY down its good enough for me

I just stick to playing Carmageddon on the PC; it's got the Force Feedback wheel 'n all. :) But my coworkers are all trying to score either the Wii or another one that costs $400 for their kids for Christmas. It's the Tickle Me Elmo of '06, I guess!

From what I've seen and read, there are two options for the PS3 one with a 20GB hard drive and one with a 60GB. There is a $100 difference between the two. I read that Nintendo was trying to grab the non-gamer market with the Wii, those people that were not people who played the PS or 360. Thats the reason the controller is much different from the others.

My girlfriend bought a Wii just to sell it, hopefully make some money off it. I don't play video games much so I'm not interested in any of it. I play Need for Speed: Most Wanted on the PC and thats it.

I doubt Nintendo has the smarts to grab the market on anything anymore. These guys were on top and suddenly fell off the planet. The new controller is a unique idea but they should have created one for each hand for the running and other games that could require two hands to play. This will be a small market.

PSIII is still a wonder if it worth a crap or not. Like the PSII they only seem to be pushing the design and colors of the damn thing and not really marketing what the games engine can do. Can it even compete with the first xbox much less the 360? It seems doubtful based on the advertising campaign Sony is using. Get the 360 and call it a day. Sony has some great products and I am a big fan of their computers and cameras, but they seem comfortable being the second best gaming console on the market.

That's what's wrong with people. Getting it just to sell it. :cussing:

The Wii is DAMN good. It does have a controller you use for both hands. You swing both when boxing. PS3 is crap, and 4out of 10 around here has already fried. For gun games, the Wii is awesome, but not sure on racing yet. May need to keep the PS2 for the racing games. Wii is WELL worth the money, and I see it being in more living rooms than PS3, not because of price, but functions and fun factor. :w00t:

Yeah I don't understand why they were asking 1,000. for them here in California.. The PS3's were going for 2,500. - 4,000.
