My headlights are dim and don't light up the road very well, would foglights help this? Or do i need to get brighter bulbs? If so, what kind? :silly:

You should get brighter bulbs. Try to go to a Performance shop to see what kind of bubls u can get for your car.

just up grade the bulbs, but if the are that new and diming check out your batt and alt just in case, if both check out fine then upgrade, bulbs are verry easy to find its just a matter of $

The item number for your headlights are 9007 and your foglights are 893. I have changed mine several times and your best bet is to run foglights and headlights. Did your Mustang come with foglights? I run blue on both headlights and foglights which are nice and bright but suck in the fog. If you don't have foglights on your car they make a stock foglight that has a clear lense which works alot better than the stock ones which don't.

Heres the foglights I'm talking about...

These are what I run and theyve lasted a over a year with no problems..

you might wana get a 1,000 watt cap, for your sterio, the cap is needed for some sterios that actually dim the lights cause they draw so much power from the batt.

You can get these at any local Walmart and secondly these are a low wattage bulb which = not that bright. If you want to try them I would say go to Walmart and pick up a pair and install them and if you dont like them take them back and just tell them you got the wrong ones. Also foglights do help some, they give you more light on the road but they tend not to shine out more than 10 feet in front of your car. Hope this helps.

The amp and speakers shouldn't be your problem. The lights would go dim when the bass hits and then go bright again. If you want to know for sure look at your dome light when its on and turn the stereo up it will go dim and bright when the stereos up. You should post some pics of your lights at night, I would like to see what your talking about.

Capacitors don't come in watts.... :smack: They are in farads and for a 400 watt amp depending on what brand it is, you would either want a 1/2 of 1 farad.

1,000 watts = 1 Farad
500 watts = 1/2 Farad.

well at least thats what the caps i have seen said.
