Was wonderin how long before the next mysic. Think it will be on the next body styles cobra the first year it comes out or think they will wait a while? any thoughts on paint for the newer cobras ?

It won't come out on the first new one, usually they will wait till an anniversary of some kind before they do it

that is what i was thinking. I was not much for the 96 but on the 04's i think it looked really nice

Could it have been the gold/green/brown/dark red effect? Not a single color I would have picked for my Mustang...

Mine goes from gold, to brown to black to red to green to purple, its main color is liek a dark blue or purple color. at night it looks green during the day it looks purple when the light is hitting it at the right angle it looks gold color. there are some videos on my web site and pictures that might help ya get a better idea. it is like the mystic but shifts more colors

No, but my old man mentioned that body shops weren't even allowed to carry the paint. A rep had to come out and look at the repair, and then only give just enough paint to fix the damage. All to keep it exclusive.

He was a service manager for a bunch of years...I miss having the luxury of the shop at my fingertips. At least parts are still at cost plus 10% :)

Each person that bought a 96 mystic was allowed a certain amount of paint they could get to repaint and do touch ups. Not sure of the amount but we have a few mystics in our club and that what they told us

Yeah, we were talking about body shop repair work. How many touch up bottles would it take to paint a car? lol.
