Does any one know if the brake calipers need to be taken apart for powdercoating or will they take the 400 degree heat it will take to flow and cure the powder. Just wondering about any seal problems with the temp.

Probably be best if taken apart just to be on the safe side, don't want to take chances with something like the brakes.

how much do you pay for powder coating calipers?

Depending on who asks -- :) I will do 'em for $50 (plus powder and shipping) if you strip the old paint and pull 'em apart. (Tim and I both powdercoat -- I don't know if Tim's gone "pro" yet)

According to Eastwood the seals are okay to bake. Make sure you use hi-temp powder (none of the 325 dF stuff) or they will change color after use.

I'll send you the link Tim.
