Mines still gets over 20,with the 3.08 gears. MUCH less in the city though.around 14. 5 speed helps alot on hwy miles too.

FIPK, tb/plenum, exhaust on a 3.73 stick GT here, using premium in stop 'n go traffic. I get horrified stares from people driving Suburbans when I press that "93" button, LOL.

I'd say around 18 mpg but have to start an actual count; have been filling up at half-empty to ease the sticker shock at the pump. $19 used to fill the whole tank! This gas price garbage has gotten way out of hand, and fat cat CEOs are still sitting back counting profits. Now one company's found a rotten pipeline to make a real excuse, it's going to get even worse.

Howevah... I'm not riding to work on a moped while they enjoy viewing Van Gogh's greatest hits on their office walls courtesy of the commuting public. Regular working folks deserve a little enjoyment from life, too, and this Mustang is my modest form of escape from the perception that we're all just cogs supporting the top dogs.

Don't go to a GT expecting better mileage than a V6... there might be reasons why your sixer is gulping down fuel more than average, because we've got two more cylinders burning up that gas.

Twin turbo when i am out of boost i get 23 on the highway and 18 in the city. When in boost i get around 10 to 13. I did not buy a mustang to save on gas but it looks like i made a pretty good choice ha ha

I get around 12/20 now, but that's with the blower

prior to the blower I got around 18/25. I actually had a trip where I got 30 mpg out of it before I had gears.

If you want to blame anyone for high gas prices, it should be the government, and especially environmental lobbyists. We can't drill for oil on US soil or territory, we can't build oil refineries. And the government makes twice as much on fuel then the oil companies do (around 18 cents/gallon vs the 8-9 cents/gallon that oil companies get) Heck, local and state fuel taxes range from 30-50 cents/gallon.

If you want to complain about gas prices, put the blame where it belongs

ps, if you wan to save on gas; then you need to drive a certain way...
it's all about how much you're "on it" and how often; and how much you coast along at a higher gear and lower rpms whenever possible. ..but how fun is that??

like I said above, my 4 banger was only getting 19 city...that's because I beat the piss out of it all the time just to keep up with other traffic.

I think the weight to engine ratio has alot to do with it. A sixer has alot more strain on it than a V8 to get it up to speed. Funny how it doesnt matter what mods you have done, you still get the same highway mileage huh ?

I would say I am around the 18/22 mark as well. I only get to drive about 8 miles a day though. I'm just guessing on the highway!!!! Oh, BTW, it's an auto!
