Damn car wont start!!!!

it starts up, but you either have to hit the gas a shit load or let her sit for a few hrs to cool then it starts right up.....im thinking maybe a new carb? But I really dont know.....Hmm and also when i start it up i get high off the gas smell, its real strong for a good 5 min.... But whatever let me know what you think and ill get right on it.....

I don't know to much about carbs. but try adjusting it so it's not running so rich. It kinda sounds like it's flooding out. I would check the fuel filter, depending on the condition of it, possibly buying a new one. Put some fresh gas in it. If you have alot of gas already in the tank, maybe syphen it out, and maybe run 3-4 gals. of 110 , and then put some fresh fuel in. But to his, his own.
